The participants of the online course (more about the course read below) have access to monthly expert-led consultation sessions. We’ve now extended access to these sessions for prospective students and those who are enrolled in individual modules, and Individual/Team subscribers (see Subscription plans).
Consultation on the topic “Non-Tariff Regulation and Sanctions” takes place on 17 October 2024 at 12:00 – 13:00 CEST. One-time session (the event will not be recorded).
Lecturer: Anthony Buckley, Chair of the Customs Knowledge Institute, Ireland. Now operating his own consultancy company, Anthony provides advice to a number of accountancy and other firms, and has experience of training in customs for the University of Limerick, Chartered Accountants Ireland, Irish Exporters Association, and CILT Skillnet. He will give a presentation and invite discussion on these aspects:
- What are non-tariff regulations?
- Different regulations, different requirements
- Marking goods – quality and compliance
- Controlled goods – managing the supply chain
- Sanctions
About the course
The extensive Customs clearance and trade compliance in the EU course provides newcomers and cross-functional employees with the knowledge needed to successfully manage compliance and mitigate risk in this complex area. It consists of 21 recorded modules, which learners have access to for a period of 3 months. Each module can also be purchased separately.
