The second meeting in our new series of customs roundtables will take place on the 3 December, 15:00-16:00 CET. This meeting will focus on one of the core customs topics, classification.
- What are the latest changes and updates?
- What’s changing in 2025 that businesses need to be aware of?
- What are the main challenges for represented industries?
The meeting will start with two short presentations by invited guests:
- Christopher Matt will cover the latest developments and reflections from his practice;
- Elizabeth Davies from Tarifftel will talk about the challenges of classification in the food and drink industry.
This will be followed by a roundtable discussion with all participants. We invite you to share your thoughts, comments and reflections from your own industries.
The meeting will be held under Chatham House rules to encourage open discussion. It is open to Essential/Individual/Team members and, by invitation, to CustomsClear’s partners and guests.
About customs roundtables
Customs is a complex area and it’s difficult to stay up to date with all the latest developments.
Customs roundtables are designed for the customs community to come together and exchange views regarding various areas of customs. This can be either specific cases and questions or wider industry trends. The discussions will go into technical details and will allow participants to learn from peers and exchange views and experiences. It’s an excellent opportunity to have an open discussion on some of the most pressing customs issues. We aim to create an open and supportive live forum that also offers the facility to continue discussions online.
We welcome customs experts and experts-to-be in all areas of customs (origin, valuation, special procedures etc) and from all backgrounds (legal, in-house, academic, consulting etc).
Register to the customs roundtables by signing up for the new Essential Plan which will be launched soon and get access to the CustomsClear Customs Practitioners’ Forum.
