Programme leaders

Anthony Buckley, Chair of the Customs Knowledge Institute, Ireland. Now operating his own consultancy company, Anthony provides advice to a number of accountancy and other firms, and has experience of training in customs for the University of Limerick, Chartered Accountants Ireland, Irish Exporters Association, and CILT Skillnet. Formerly Head of Revenue’s Customs Service, he led Brexit planning for Irish Customs up to mid-2018.  In his Customs role, he represented Ireland at EU discussions, and in the World Customs Organisation.

Dr Anna Jerzewska is the Chief Content Officer at CustomsClear, the European customs and trade knowledge platform.
She is a customs and trade facilitation expert with over 18 years of experience. She is the co-chair of the Trade Facilitation Committee at the British Chambers of Commerce in Belgium, a member of the UK Customs Thematic Working Group and an Associate Fellow of UKTPO. She’s a former customs consultant for PwC, EY and KPMG in London and a former Deputy Director at HMRC, UK customs authority. Prior to joining CustomsClear, Anna advised a wide range of public and private sector clients – from individual companies to governments and international organisations.
