To close the summer series on customs and sustainability, we will discuss customs and supply chains.
New sustainability policies such as CBAM, Deforestation Regulation or Corporate Sustainability Reporting, require unprecedented levels of supply chain visibility from companies. This need for transparency and traceability across supply chains comes on top of years of uncertainty for traders in the EU and worldwide, new border restrictions and prohibitions and ongoing geopolitical pressures. It forces customs, supply chain and sustainability professionals to work together to address these challenges. It also highlights the importance of public-private partnerships.
In this webinar, we will explore:
- New reporting requirements and their impact on companies of all sizes;
- Key challenges to supply chain visibility for companies;
- What can companies do to best manage the growing number of external reporting requirements?
- How can supply chain companies and new technologies support traders?
- Can public-private partnerships support the introduction of Green Transition policies by simplifying the collection of some of this data?
